TOUR DE FRANCE STAGE 20 BETTING PREVIEW
The time trial starts with 30km of flat to gently rolling terrain nut the real test is the final 6.2km as the riders are required to climb the Planche des Belles Filles. It is not the steepest of the mountains but it has a 8.5% average gradient and a 20% section towards the finish line. The winner of this stage will be a General Classification contender looking to put time into rivals, or a Time-Trial specialists.
Our Stage 20 Favorites
A clash between team-mates Primoz Roglic and Tom Dumoulin should be on the cards. The Slovenian is a better climber than Dumoulin, but the Dutchman has superior time-trial skills than the current yellow jerse.Tadej Pogacar is also good both at time-trial and climbing but, of course, the UAE captain is not a specialist like Dumoulin although he was very impressive in the Slovenian National Championship.
Astana's Miguel Angel Lopez just 30 seconds back of second-place Pogacar. He should loss time in the first 30 km and the final ascent could not be enough to recover all the gap.
Mikel Landa and Enric Mas will try to overtake Trek-Segafredo’s Richie Porte as these three riders sit in the 4-6 positions and are separated by 1'13'. He clocked in at 9th in last years Tour De France TT, about 10 seconds slower than Porte. The Aussie looks more suited for this stage than his closest rivals.
Long-shots to back?
Richard Carapaz is another rider in the mix to watch because there are a maximum of 10 KoM points atop the climb. Anyway, we expect the INEOS-Grenadiers’s rider to save energies in the first 30km and go full gas only in the final 6 kilometers as times for KoM points are determined only by the times to climb the Planche des Belles Filles.Wout Van Aert can't be underestimated as he may be the best person to give Roglic instructions after finishing his race.
We also expect a great performance by Michael Kwiatkowski while Pello Bilbao, Soren Kragh Andersen, Thomas De Gendt, Maximilian Schachmann, Jan Polanc and Hugh Carthy are the probable long-shots.
This is Thibaut Pinot’s local climb but the Frenchman is not a time-triallist and his form is absolutely poor this year. His fellow countryman Julian Alaphilippe could finish in the Top 10 but we can't see him beating the favorites.
Marc Hirschi and Sepp Kuss are in great conditions and could surprisingly finish in the top 10.

TOUR DE FRANCE STAGE 19 BETTING PREVIEW
Stage 19 profile is bumpy as the race skirts the foothills of the Jura mountains without ever quite hitting the real climbs.More than half the teams in the race have yet to win a stage, and this is essentially the last breakaway opportunity. Of course, GC contenders will save their legs for Saturday's ITT at La Panche des Belles Filles.
Peter Sagan will see this as his last big chance in the points classification, but he and Bora-Hansgrohe have a lot of work to do if he is to take back green.
The only team that could force the tempo is Peter Sagan's Bora Hansgrohe, as the Slovakian will try to drop Sam Bennett and regain his Green Jersey.

and Cees Bol have have failed to deliver in bunch sprints so far and could be the only sprinters able to cause an upset for the top 4 speedsters. The likes of Luka Mezgec, Hugo Hofstetter, Jasper Stuyven and Niccolo Bonifazio only have top 5 ambitions at maximum.
What about GC Contenders?
Although this stage has been promoted as one for sprinters, there is enough climbing here to encourage a breakaway, who can often be successful in latter stages when energies are in short supply.Fast riders like Elia Viviani, Matteo Trentin, Bryan Coquard, Edvald Boasson Hagen, Sonny Colbrelli and Greg Van Avermaet will probably look to escape as well as breawakay specialists like Thomas De Gendt, Alessandro De Marchi, Julian Alaphilippe, Alexey Lutsenko, Pavel Sivakov, Kasper Asgreen, Oliver Naesen and Warren Barguil.
